IRRIGATION:

Save Money With A Sprinkling Meter

As a Harrison Township resident, you have the option of installing a second water meter (often called a sprinkling meter) for all of your outside watering needs. With the installation of a sprinkling meter, you will not pay the costly sanitary sewer charges for water that does not enter the municipal sanitary sewer system. This means that watering you lawn, washing your car, filling the swimming pool or running through the sprinkler on a hot summer day can all be done at a substantial savings to you. If you have a water driven sump pump to keep your basement dry in the event of a power outage, the water driven sump pump may also be plumbed from the sprinkling meter, saving you the sanitary sewer costs.

For more information on how to start saving money today, please contact the Harrison Township Water and Sewer Department today at (586) 466-1425.
