Automatic Payment Withdrawal / ACH (Automatic Clearing House) Payments
for Water and Sewer Bills have been suspended until January 2021
Dear Harrison Township Residents and Business Owners,
Due to the Governor’s Executive Order that closed our offices in March, we were unable to process water and sewer bills as scheduled. As mentioned in our informational mailing that has been sent to every water and sewer customer, we will be extending due dates and offering payment arrangements to further delay the assessment of penalties or late charges. As a result of extending billing due dates, and in anticipation that some customers may be experiencing financial hardships due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have suspended ACH (Automatic Clearing House) payments until January of 2021. This will ensure that no customer’s account is overdrawn due to the additional time frame associated with their water and sewer bills. ACH Automatic Payment Withdrawal will be automatically reinstated in January of 2021. If you no longer wish to have your payment automatically deducted, please notify the Water Department prior to the New Year.
