DIA Partners in Public Art

Harrison Township is partnering with the Detroit Institute of Arts to create a public art mural that reflects our community. The artwork will be painted on the exterior of the bathhouse in the Harrison Township Waterfront Park on the wall facing Jefferson. We will post more information about the mural and the program as we receive it from the DIA.

The PIPA program was created in 2018 to collaborate with communities to co-create community-informed, highly visible public works of art. The goal is to help people explore, express, and build a stronger sense of community through a communal art experience.
